Help: Hiding links: the_category and comments_popup_link when on comments page

  • Morning,

Is there anyway to hide the links below when you are on the comments page for the entry?

    ‘<p class=”posted”><span class=”file-img”><?php _e(“Filed:”); ?> <?php the_category(‘,’) ?></span> <span class=”comm-img”><?php _e(“Speak:”); ?></span> <?php comments_popup_link(‘Want to reply?’, ‘1 Comment’, ‘% Comments’); ?>’

    Thanks
    Karl

  • I just need to understand this a little better. You have these things on the comment page, which is separate from the post, and you don’t want to add the category information or a link to add a comment to the comment page people are viewing?

Isn’t the purpose of the comment page to allow people to reply to the comments?

If you want to get rid of the category reference, then delete it or comment it out in case you want to put it back later.

    sorry you misunderstand me.

I actually want the above code hidden once the user clicks on the comment link and the comment include kicks in.

    Thanks
