# Site having issues

 * Our website is having issues. I have not logged into WordPress for a couple months.
   When I try to…. its telling me too many Login Attempts, wait 8 hrs. Would be 
   nice if I could talk to someone at WordPress that could fix this. Any suggestions??

 * are you using a plugin to limit the login attempt? Chances are you are. Just 
   deactivate that plugin in the dashboard.

 * WordPress is free software and this free, volunteer-staffed forum is the only
   support resource available via wordpress.org. If you can’t do the work yourself,
   you have the option of engaging a professional to assist you to fix it correctly.

 * You can FTP in and disable all plugins by renaming the plugins folder. Then you
   can see if it allows you to log in.

 * If you don’t have access to your admin area, then, use [FTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides.
