Hi, I have just downloaded and activated your plugin, and it looks like just what I will need. I’m using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes.

However, please can you help with these questions:

    1) In the Strictly Necessary Cookies tab, is it OK for me to select this option: (Always enabled (user cannot disable it but can see the content)) ?
    2) Third-party cookies: I will be using Google Analytics and the Facebook pixel. What codes and snippets exactly do I need to post in the Head, Body or Footer section? Do you have a video explaining how this works?
    3) Additional cookies – what other cookies might be included in this section?
    4) Basically do you have a video tutorial for beginners that explains exactly how to set this up?

    Thanks!

    Fatima

    Hi @fatimaw,

    Thanks for your comments.

Our GDPR plugin is compatible with Divi theme. Please see our answers for your questions below:

    1) In the Strictly Necessary Cookies tab, is it OK for me to select this option: (Always enabled (user cannot disable it but can see the content)) ?
This setup it’s really up to you, our plugin allows you multiple options.

    2) Third-party cookies: I will be using Google Analytics and the Facebook pixel. What codes and snippets exactly do I need to post in the Head, Body or Footer section? Do you have a video explaining how this works?
We have a video explanation about how the plugin works, but the code snippets are custom snippets, each website uses different third party scripts. To get your code snippet from Google Analytics, you have to login to your GA account, and in the admin area you can get the tracking code. They have a nice description which part should be included in the head & body sections. The same for Facebook. When you create a new GA or FP property, you will get instructions from Google and from Facebook regarding code snippet and where to put the code snippets.

    3) Additional cookies – what other cookies might be included in this section?
This section is optional, if you would like to separate the Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel scripts this could help on this. For example the GA code snippet could be added to the “3rd party” script section, and the Facebook Pixel could be added to the “advanced cookies” section. But it’s really up to you how would you prefer to categorise your scripts.

    4) Basically do you have a video tutorial for beginners that explains exactly how to set this up?
You can check our demo video here: https://vimeo.com/255655268

    Hope this helps.
