Help – feedburner email subscribtion?

When I moved from wp.com to wp.org the people at wp.com kindly moved my email subscribers (109) over for me.

I have set up the email subscription widget that automatically comes with wp.org on my side bar.

Apparently I can set up an email subscription via feedburner – how does this work with my existing wordpress subscribers? Would I end up with two ‘sets’ of email followers? Would they be integrated into the feedburner account? Do I simply delete the existing email widget on my side bar?

I already have my RSS feedburner set up.
