# Help! Embed Code Changes on its Own!

 * Please Help!
    I’m trying to switch from the frustrating JW Player to a commercial
   license with Flowplayer.
 * This is the code I entered on wordpress after installing plug-in:
    <object>[FLOWPLAYERhttp://
   mysite.s3.amazonaws.com/filename.ext,648,360]</object> It works perfectly.
 * When I click from “HTML” to “Visual” tabs in wordpress, then back to “HTML”,
   
   the code is automatically changed to: <object classid=”clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-
   96b8-444553540000″ width=”100″ height=”100″ codebase=http://download.macromedia.
   com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0″><embed type=”application/
   x-shockwave-flash” width=”100″ height=”100″> </embed></object>
 * Why is this?
    I can’t use the flow player until I’m sure the code won’t be corrupted
   by some admin doing work some day.

 * Two things to try.

 * Try leaving out the object tags, and inserting the “=” sign in the path. Test
   again and check your results.

 * 2) When entering code (in general, and it may not always apply to shortened code
   like the example above) don’t preview it in the visual editor prior to publishing.
   Enter it in HTML mode and then straight to publish, and then check the result.

 * Thanks for the suggestions, but they didn’t help.
    I entered the code in HTML,
   it works perfectly. I published the page.
 * Then, I went back to “edit”, clicked from visual to HTML, and the code was messed
   again.
 * I have admin working on my site and if they click back and forth they’ll knock
   out all my videos.
 * Do you know how to suppress the auto rewrite on WordPress?

 * I’d like an answer to this too.
 * Telling people to not switch html/visual or it messes up the code, but only on
   this age and this page, it is ok on other pages ( that don’t have audio inserted…)
   it’s not very good. I have got embed tags being switched to object class Id etc.
 * Anyone know how to control this?
