Hi i got a free theme from a website but it has a footer thats full of things i dont want on my website.
Its ok to keep the creator link but there are several others that are bogus and there is even an adsense tracking code in it.
I found out that when i placed :
<!–Our dear footer starts here–>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
<!–Our dear footer ends here–>
and checked whats the code in the footer from the browser.
Here is the encoded version of the footer that i would like to get decoded and remove the unnecessary things.
Encoded footer – http://pastebin.com/cKzx6kLg
If i remove the footer i get a warning message not to remove the footer and the theme is not displaying.
Need help please. Got no idea with what is this thing encoded.
Or use another, non-spammy, theme from a reputable site..
Unfortunately this encoding on my footer is tad bit different than the ones covered in those topics and i cant seem to get a way of figuring out what exact type it is and how it can be decoded.
As for picking other theme that doesn’t help me at all as i like this one and would love to get it fixed rather than try finding different theme.
This link might help. http://www.r10.net/wordpress/1060008-footer-php-de-farkli-sifreleme.html
Regardless of the decrypted footer content you are much better off using a different theme.
Thanks for the link but it all is in turkish and i cant get whats all about even with google translate due to “nice” translations it spews out.
If someone knows how to get around this encoding and help me remove it from that theme that would be awesome.
