• I am moving my blog from one domain back to another where it was previously hosted. As a result, I have statistics and subscribers on the current site and the one I am going back to. Can someone please help with combining the statistics and subscribers?

The final location will be http://www.indulgethewanderlust.com

The location I am moving from is http://www.first2board.com/indulgethewanderlust

I would like to complete this move as soon as possible and have not yet notified the admin at first2board.com that I am leaving the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hey Jeff,

This seems like a pretty standard migration, i.e. move 1) the WP files over 2) move the SQL database over.

There’s a lot of good resources if you google “migrating WordPress” or check out http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress .

Alternatively, if you’re not comfortable with this there are paid services such as http://migratetowp.com/ (I’m unfamiliar with) which you can make use of.

    Cheers!

    Noel,

I actually have already migrated the site, but haven’t been able to combine the statistics or subscribers from the two sites. It is my understanding that a wordpress staff member can do this.

I don’t have access to anything else from the SQL database from the first2board site, so I hoping we can complete this without that.

    Thanks,
    Jeff
