Support » Fixing WordPress » Help changing the image in my header

  • Hoping I can get some help… we had an outside service setup our site http://partners.jvfaststart.net, and all I want to do is change the simple picture in the header.

I’m somewhat of a newbie and just not finding out where to do that. I can get into the dashboard backoffice area and I can see the pages, but I’m thinking the header must be part of theme or something. In any case, I have no idea how to access that area and get the new picture in.

I have seen some references to people referencing the CSS stylesheets, etc., but I have no idea how to access those and other files.

Can anybody lead me in the right direction? Any help will be appreciated!

  • All you have to do is right click on the image and discover the image path and dimensions and file name/type – then upload a new image of same three…no other changes will be required – when performed refresh your browser…

the header must be part of theme

see if you can find header.php under:

dahsboard – appearance – editor; make sure your theme is selected; then click on header.php in the list on the right
