Re-upload a fresh copy of Twenty Eleven:

If that still doesn’t work, check your database to see if the posts are still there.
Okay, I did all that, and still no posts. They are in the database and they are in the dashboard. If I click on a tag in the tag cloud on the home page, it takes me to a post.
Can we see your site using Twenty Eleven, please?
Still seeing your custom theme here.
Sorry, I was fidgeting. It’s back. I also uninstalled all the plugin’s again. And I noticed, if I choose front page displays latest posts rather than a static page, all the posts are there.
What did you expect to see if you chose a static front page?
That’s how it was set before the switch. I must have done that?
Did you add any content to your chosen static front page? Have you reviewed creating a static front page?
Good morning, Esmi.
With a little rest and fresh eyes and head I’m fine with the static page, thank you.
I’ve pretty much disabled all the plugins and things seem to be fine. I have no idea which plugin was the culprit. I tested them all, and things would be fine, and then they weren’t.
So my issue now is getting my pages to properly display my sidebar. For example, I can’t get the post to align to the left on the single posts page. I’ve been over and over the code, but I can’t find the right place. And now I’ve messed with it so much that I’ve messed up the pages, and the sidebar is once again aligning under the content.
Thanks Esmi. I guess I feel like I either don’t understand where the errors are coming from, or they seem to be wordpress or theme errors.
I don’t know. I’m really frustrated.
They are theme errors. One of your stylesheets is complete AWOL for a start…
I saw that – the twenty eleven style sheet? That is from my fresh install, and I checked in my FTP file and I see it there.
Oh, you know, FYI, I’m working on thelainelist.com site, not the tester site.
So anyway, I’m still having the page and single post page sidebar issue, but that is all now.
Ah – I ran the original validations on the tester site but you have the same kinds of issues on the main site:
HTML
CSS
Still primarily theme issues.
