Everything was working great I created all my categories and have been getting a lot of listing submissions. I was going to add the paypal module but went to login to my site today and it just takes me to a blank page (http://buckscountycommunity.com/wp-login.php) I cant log into the site to do anything.

I contacted my host and they said it appears to be an error with the Business directory plugin. I do not want to lose all the info stored in the directory but I need to get into the backend of my site.

If anyone could provide assistance it would be greatly appreciated as i am not experience with FTP of my control panel. I do everything logged into the site.

    my email is [redacted ]

    the site is buckscountycommunity.com

    Respectfully,

This was the response I received from HostGator. I would also like to mention that I love this plugin and will be using it on 3 other sites and purchasing the multi-site paypal module once this is corrected. I gave the plugin 5 stars I am just hoping I can get this issue corrected so that I can resume business.

    HostGator:

    Greetings,

There appear to be two issues on this ticket. With the BucksCountyCommunity.com WordPress site it appears that the site is having issues with the “Business Directory Plugin” plugin. Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist much further with diagnosing the issue. You will need to contact the plugin developer for additional help:

I tried to get more help from host gator as this is an urgent matter and this was there response. At this point i have no idea what i can do…

    Greetings,

We have attempted to disable the plugin in an attempt to restore access to the admin panel for you. Unfortunately, the plugin resists all non-destructive means we have to disable it. At this point we have gone well past our scope of support. We wish we could offer more assistance but short of removing and replacing the WordPress site, there is little else we can do.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Respectfully,

    No bumping, thank you.

    Hi mentaledge,

So, to restore your site, please do the following.

Using FTP or SCP, go to wp-content/plugins/ directory
    Delete the directory “business-directory-plugin”

If BD is the cause of this site shutdown, this will restore it easily.

Now, after having done that, to figure out WHY this happened, you should run a plugin/theme conflict check. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

That should help tell you what is conflicting with BD. BD by itself doesn’t cause these issues, it has to be with something else. We work very hard to write the plugin to WP standards and guidelines, but not everyone does this, so conflicts sometimes happen.

Report back on what you find. You may also check to see if you have any of these plugins installed noted here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/known-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/
