A couple of days ago I noticed that Google Chrome was flagging my site as non secure and would not let me login.

I contacted my webhosts and they organsied an SSL certificate for the domain

This is set now and my domain resolves to Https. However I still cannot login to my wordpress admin

The host tells me that it’s not a server issue and they’re now done supporting me on it

I need help

I enter my credentials and the page just reverts to login screen again. and doesn’t tell me that I have reduced attempts to login. so it’s like it’s not even processing the credentials

Since you are using a commercial theme, you must ask the theme developers.

What did you do to change your site for https?

Install this script per its directions: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

Search for http://ronniesblog.com and replace with https://ronniesblog.com

thanks guys. i’ve contacted my theme support to see if they can assist with anything

i didn’t do anything on my site to change to Https… i’m not sure what i would need to do

i’ll await to hear response from the theme developers then run the script

Turns out the issue was with the wordfence plugin. deactivated that and all was well
