# Help!! Can't Import XML

 * Please help! I’m switching my WordPress.com site to self-hosted with DreamHost.
   I exported my old WordPress.com data into an XML file, and have then tried importing
   this file into my new WordPress.org installation on DreamHost, and it is NOT 
   WORKING. The problem is not a size limit issue – the file is only 2 MB and my
   host’s limit is 7 MB.
 * I contacted my host and they said that the reason I’m unable to upload the file
   is because it must be in SQL format, NOT XML format.
 * Is there anything I can do to import the data into my new site???? Any insights
   would be greatly appreciated!!

 * We don’t _only_ support SQL. I think that the explanation of how an SQL import
   is better was a little confusing though.
