# HELP! Broken WP Installation??

 * Hi, I just migrated a site from a subdomain (diff server) to a new server and
   domain. I have deleted old site files and my maintenance mode splash page now
   shows at the new domain address. But – I can’t login to the backend. I get a 
   500 when I try to login. How do I look for the error or find it? Is there a way
   to re-upload WP without killing all my files? Thank you!!!! mySQL works fine.

 * When you migrated, did you replace all of the old URLs and paths in the database
   with the new ones?
 * Did you take care to do the replace using a method that preserves serialized 
   strings?
 * If not, [here is a tool](http://interconnectit.com/124/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/)
   that might help you make the changes.
