Help: after activating MT link plugin lost access to site (2 posts)

Omigod did I screw something up in my blog!! I saw the MT link conversion plugin (which converts MT-style underscore urls to hyphenated urls) in my plugin list & for the hell of it tried to activate it (oh how I wish I could undo that fateful mouse click!). I can't even remember what happened but I think I got an error msg. that the file was no longer found.

But the next time I tried to access my site I found that my site's actual url: http://www.richardsilverstein.com/tikun_olam/ was converting to http://www.richardsilverstein.com/tikun-olam. And of course, since that's not my correct url I'm getting 404 msgs. like crazy. I can't access any screen of my blog, external or internal. How do I access my admin interface in order to deactivate the plugin?

    Help! What do I do?

I used my ftp to find the plugin file & destroyed it with prejudice. It's amazing how a little plugin can take over your entire site & render it inaccessible. I'd like to let the plugin author at idly.org know about this behavior.
