# Help! AdSense?

 * Hi,
    I can’t seem to get ads to work on my WordPress blog! I have created an 
   AdSense account, I have derived an AdSense code, and I have placed that code 
   in a text box in my Widget. Nothing works! What have I done wrong and where should
   I be putting my AdSense code? Do I need to download an AdSense plugin first ?
   If so, which one?

 * can you post a link to your site?
 * if the adsense code appears properly in the textwidget (you can check that by
   loking into the html code of your site in the browser ‘View’ ‘Source’ or similar),
   the problem is with google – you need to find an adsense forum to ask.
 * if your bog is with wordperess.**com**, you probably can’t have adsense – check
   with [http://en.forums.wordpress.com/](http://en.forums.wordpress.com/)
