# Redirection problem

 * I was given a wordpress.org account through a website hosting package. I had 
   never used it before. I recently changed my website provider so I logged in to
   switch the address. Now I can’t log in. Every time I do it tries to redirect 
   to the new address and won’t load the page. What can I do? Because it was set
   up through my web builder originally I don’t have a full wordpress login if you
   see what I mean, because the only place I can log in is at my blog address/login–
   but now since it won’t load it and always redirects me to a non-page I am completely
   stuck!

 * Using [FTP/ SFTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), or your web-host’s
   cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides, access phpMyAdmin
   on your host, then find your DB, there check the wp_options Table (Note: The 
   table prefix of wp_ may be different if you changed it when installing), and 
   make sure **siteurl** field and **home** field are correct. See this Codex for

   If you don’t feel comfortable messing with the database, contact your hosting
   provider to help you with this or try other methods described in the aforementioned
   codex
 *  **If you haven’t already done, always backup your database before doing any 
   actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough 
   backups! **
