how to make a menu drop down when the selection tool is on the menu item

    Hello everyone,so I’m basically very new on working with WP and I have to be honest I AM LOST!!! My boss recently gave me a project of building for him 2 websites on this program but my background of building web sites and knowing this program is 0!!! Now I was given a template to manage it (minimal theme template t-one. I’ve made several mistakes here and now I realize I DO NEED HELP. What I would like help right now would be on how to make a menu drop down when the selection tool is on the menu item. Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME
