    Hi guys,

    I have a custom css for my images, with a specific width (360px) and an ‘auto’ heigth. All works OK in Firefox, but not in IE.

    I’ve saw the uploader injects its own classes, which maybe overrides mine, having this kind of final code :

    <div class="myimage"> <!-- all ok until here -->
         <img src="/site/blog/images/image.png" width="WP-WIDTH" height="WP-HEIGHT" />
    </div>

    So my own css is ignored.

    I need the height:auto property, which I couldn’t set it up via the Media Manager, because it only offers the original size in one hand, or the wordpress default classes in the other.

    Can anybody help me ?

    Thanks.

    Try over-riding them…

    In your CSS, add !important onto the end…

    EXAMPLE..
    height:auto!important;

    Thanks t31os, sometimes there’s nothing like an external view to recall your steps : I just added a png-fix script for IE, which was resizing my images all the time.

    I’ve put a conditional comment to avoid it :

    <!--[if lt IE 7]><script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-content/themes/Blog/js/pngfix.js"></script><![endif]-->

    Only IE6 users will see a funky resizing.

    cheers,

    If it works… 🙂

    IE can be a pain… i use an app called IE tester when needed though…

    Small app that allows you to open tabs and render in different IE engines… 5.5, 6 etc….

    Makes for faster testing, though it doesn’t play nice with certain Javascipts, it’s fine for HTML and CSS stuff in most cases though.
