 * Hi recently set up my blog. In talking to a couple of my friends who also use
   WP for their blogs with their own hosting (same as me) they told me that they
   do not have to pay for the access to upload a video. When making a post the video
   icon is there but not clickable. It says I can upgrade my WP and pay the $59
   to be able to do this, but why would others get this free and not me? It makes
   me think I am doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
 * Thanks.

 * First and foremost, if you haven’t done so already, I would recommend reading
   [Using_the_Support_Forums](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_the_Support_Forums).“
   HELP!” is not a very descriptive subject.
 * In regards to the $59 for video…. That’s not default WordPress behavior. It’s
   possible that your hosting provider added that in there and doesn’t let you upload
   videos without an extra fee. Who is your host? Did they setup and configure WordPress
   automatically for you, or did you set it up and configure it yourself?

 * My host is justhost.com. Sorry I did not have time to read all the Using support
   forums. This is the website I found it on: [http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/](http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/)
 * The icon for the video is not available to click on. Its there but you cannot
   click on it. It won’t open.
 * Just Host set it up. I did not configure it.
 * Thanks.

 * That link that you posted is for WordPress**.com**, not a WordPress**.org** installation
   on your own host. WordPress.com has created a document that outlines the differences:
   [http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/](http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/)
 * However, even on WordPress.com, you should be able to upload some videos as part
   of their free service. On a new blog, when clicking the video link, it displays
   this message underneath the section that allows you to upload:
 * “3 GB upload space remaining. You can upload mp3, m4a, wav, ogg audio files and
   increase your available space with a Space Upgrade. You can upload videos and
   embed them directly on your blog with a Video Upgrade.”
 * You may need to contact JustHost to find out if they have a restriction on video
   uploading, or to find out if they set up your WordPress install using WordPress.
   com.
