Support » Plugin: WP TripAdvisor Review Slider » Height is wrong, buttons are outside container?

    The “Style 1” look of the review slider has a set height of 222px, which is not large enough. Many times the avatar of the person who left the review is only half visible. Why isn’t the height simply set to auto? I had to insert my own custom CSS to rectify it. Doesn’t make any sense?

    The navigation arrows for the slider are also outside of the container. Which is weird. I have a contact form next to the slider, and the arrows are now inside the contactform and outside of the content-container. Why the heck would you create a template with navigation-arrows that go outside of the container? I haven’t found a proper way to normalize this yet.

    Setting up the plugin was easy, and the settings where fairly easy. So thumbs up for that. But the Style 1 template is wrong. And shouldn’t need custom CSS to look normal out of the box.

    This would be a 3 star rating at best.

    Another point I noticed is that the POT file is empty. So it’s not possible to translate this by hand. When trying to translate with Loco Translate plugin, it says Error: Invalid POT file: wp-tripadvisor-review-slider.pot. Since there appears to be a POT file, it can’t scan the files to create a custom POT file either.

    You can add this CSS to the custom CSS for the template to bring the arrows in some…

    .wprs_unslider {
    margin-left: 45px;
    margin-right: 45px;
    }

    You’re correct I haven’t gotten a chance to set up the POT yet.

    The height changes each time you slide to a new slide. It might be your lazy loading plugin that is causing an issue. It can’t determine the height of the avatar because it’s lazy loading it. Can you exclude it from being lazy loaded? If not I can tell you what code to modify in the plugin so it is a set height.

    Thank you for the CSS. That did the trick.
    I’ll to exclude it and see what happens.
