Heatmaps don't show clicks

    Hi Daniel,

    I’m the administrator of blog.energieleveranciers.nl. I would love to use Hotspots Analytics, but unfortunately my heatmaps aren’t rendered. I can see that there’s data in the backend (screenshot), but when I click on ‘View heatmap’, I only see the page itself, without clicks.

    I’ve used Chrome 34 and Firefox 28, both no luck. Settings:
    All general settings are ON
    Use heatmap.js is ON
    No hidden roles
    No URL filter settings
    No custom events

    Can you help me out?

    Hi,

    If you add ?drawHeatmap=true to the URL does the info panel show up down the bottom?

    So if you have debug mode on, if you click repeatedly (say 20 times) do you see the heatmap begin to appear? I had no problems viewing the heatmap on your website – Chrome 34. See http://tinypic.com/r/10hj7ye/8

    Maybe check your cache?

    Hi Daniel,

    It works now – and maybe it has worked for all this time. I noticed the heatmaps took a while before they’re fully loaded, so it could’ve been my impatience. Also, I thought it would show each and every click as some sort of spot, instead of a computed spot of clicks. I clicked about 30 times on the spot, and only then it shows as a fairly small coloured spot. Is there a way to edit the setting in such a way that I can see every click, without it being computed from a couple of clicks?

    Glad you got it working.

    Yes disable the heatmap.js option so that a confetti heatmap is shown.
