Hi there, I am trying out MyBookTable, and it is doing exactly what I need it to do.
However there seems to be a conflict between Headway and the plugin in regards to the current page navigation, when styling the selected menu.
I have styled my menu so that the selected menu is green and underlined. All other menu items are black and underlined.

When an individual book is selected, the menu navigation is setting both the Books menu AND the Blog menu as selected menus, so it looks like both menu options are selected at the same time.

I’ve had a look around to see if this problem is evident elsewhere, and it seems it is.
My site is still being worked on, but I can activate it if you need me to.
However you can also see the problem here:

Even though the individual book page is selected, Blog is highlighted in red.
This is the same behaviour as I’m getting.

Any chance you could see if it’s a general conflict or something that I could resolve myself please?

    Cheers, Craig.

We’ve put a lot of effort into trying to make MyBookTable as compatible as possible with as many themes as we can, but unfortunately it’s not possible for MyBookTable to work perfectly with all themes out of the box.

It does look like MyBookTable’s Compatibility Mode system is confusing your theme’s navigation menu. You can try turning off Compatibility Mode from the MyBookTable settings page on the Setup tab.

However, turning off Compatibility Mode might cause other problems with your theme. The only way to guarantee full compatibility with your theme is to create a template file that MyBookTable can use to integrate properly with your theme. You can read more about this on our developer wiki <a href=”
https://github.com/authormedia/mybooktable/wiki/Fixing-Theme-Problems”>here. This is generally quite easy if you are familiar with PHP development, you just need to copy/paste the right parts from the theme’s code to the MyBookTable template.

I wouldn’t consider this resolved personally, but I’ll try out your suggestion and see if I can fix it.
I’ll post back here if I have any luck.
