This message continues to pop up on several of our websites, even after disconnecting and then successfully reconnecting to Square, three times now over the last month or so. Can I ignore the Heads up! There may be a problem with your connection to Square message, or do I have to keep doing this?

    Hi @wpdv,

This doesn’t sound quite right. If you connect the WooCommerce Square plugin once, it should stay connected infinitely. If that’s not what happens, there might be a firewall on the server or a security plugin blocking the connection.

If you don’t have any security plugins, you can get in touch with your hosting company and see if they’re seeing any errors in access logs for requests from *.squareup.com or connect.woocommerce.com. If you have a security plugin, you can try to deactivate it as a test, or check it with the plugin authors.

Either way, you can send us the System Status Report, you can find it under WooCommerce > Status in WP Admin.

    Cheers!

    Hi @madeincosmos,

Should I post the system status report on woocommerce.com and select the Square plugin? Will you have access to that?

I’m having this same issue, any progress?

Just updated to v2.0.5… will report back if disconnection problems continue. TY

I just disconnected square. They broke it with the 2.x version. Fair season is over for me so I’m selling everything online through my store now. I won’t need square until spring. Hopefully they can figure it out.
