# header.php: where?

 * I can’t find the header.php file in the theme. I looked in the theme’s content
   folder, but there isn’t it. Does somebody know where it is?

   header to add in meta tags and analytics code.

 * But you should not be editing the theme itself. First you would need to [create a child theme for your changes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
   and then edit t_he child theme’s_ header.php file.
