I have been fiddling with various parts of my code for a while now to get the page title (the <title> tags) to work, but so far I’ve not succeeded. I have my blog title set, and as far as I know, the page title is supposed to pull from that, but it’s not.
Here’s my blog: http://www.adriennewolter.com/blog/
Here is the code for the title in the header.php of my parent theme, twenty eleven. I haven’t altered it.
<title><?php /* * Print the <title> tag based on what is being viewed. */ global $page, $paged; wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); // Add the blog name. bloginfo( 'name' ); // Add the blog description for the home/front page. $site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' ); if ( $site_description && ( is_home() || is_front_page() ) ) echo " | $site_description"; // Add a page number if necessary: if ( $paged >= 2 || $page >= 2 ) echo ' | ' . sprintf( __( 'Page %s', 'twentyeleven' ), max( $paged, $page ) ); ?></title>
Any ideas? This seems like it should be a simple fix….
