Header text and page header problems

    My gb/fr bilingual site is almost complete with menus and content all translated. Language selection and opening of translated pages all work fine,

    I have two issues:

    After installing WPGlobus Translate Options, I entered the Header Text in the Customizer in the format {:gb}English Header{:}{:fr}French Header{:} with the relevant theme_mods_west[header_text] option set for the West theme. I am now getting {:gb}English Header{:}{:fr}French Header{:} on both pages. The Customizer Header Text Editor is not stable and cycles through the earlier entries. How can I fix this?

    With the exception of the Home page, the page headings (entry header) on the translated pages all default to gb, even though translated on the page. The permalinks are set to Post name and I note the slug is always the English slug, since it does not seem possible to set different slugs. I would like the translated pages to display the translated headings. What am I missing?

    If you mean theme
    https://wordpress.org/themes/west/
    then I have checked it on my test site.
    WPGlobus works fine, with Customizer too.
    As for option ‘theme_mods_west’ you should add this option
    on WPGlobus Translate Options page in Options to translate box
    and click Save button.

    Hello Alex,

    Thank you for confirming that the theme and theme_mods should work. I reinstalled the WPGlobus plugins and was eventually able to fix the site title issue, so now the site titles display correctly. I checked all my CSS code and found one that may have affected the header display and fixed that issue too, so I am happy with the results!

    I have one final problem with the Robo Slider. Although it displays both language options, when I entered the image titles on the French page, after saving, it overwrote the original English titles so both pages now display the English titles. How can I fix this?

    Sorry, I meant Rolo Slider and both pages now display French language.

    Ease way to work with any slider plugin is to create different sliders for each language
    and to add appropriate shortcodes to needed language.
    To prevent WPGlobus works with slider post type – disable it in WPGlobus setiings.
