i’ve got the same problem… i dont want to edit some php file. it was visible on the previous version. i could just checked-out of Header Text.
please bring this option back…
EDIT: 16 jan 15
Well, I found it on the same pane..
It was under “Site Title & Tagline” option.
you just have to un-check “Display Header Text” option.
Happy Blogging…. π
I have the same problem, though I’ve tried unchecking the “Display Header Text” option and the preview shows it working but the name and tagline still appear on the live site.

Right. The button is there to de-select but it doesn’t change on the live site. I wound up deleting that part from the header.php file – not the best workaround but…hey.
This was an issue with the theme. Mike has since fixed it and the most recent update (4.2) doesn’t have this issue anymore.
I have the 4.2 version and I have this issue …background image is in my visual editor in the content box so I cannot see what I’m typing. If I can’t get it out of there I still plan on sticking with the theme (I like it) …but it is really frustrating when I am trying to type my content.
No response to my post of one week ago regarding this issue. I still can not get the background image out of my visual editor for pages and posts. Even if I remove the background image completely from my site it is still in the editor.
It really makes it hard to write my blogs which is a shame because otherwise I love the theme and want to continue using it. I have the 4.2 version.
I have two websites with the inkblot theme but on http://elegantmenswatches.com I have never used a site background image, the problem is only on http://hempthusiasm.com (so far).
…Someone please help, can anyone do anything?
