Support » Theme: Sydney » header shows in triplicate after upgrade

  • Hi guys,
Following the upgrade to the latest version of Sydney, the header shows in triplicate on the desktop version of https://swiza.co.za/.
The mobile version displays correctly, even though the preview of the mobile version in the Customizing menu also shows in triplicate.
On another of my websites, https://www.heye.co.za/, the mobile version shows the header in triplicate. The Desktop version displays correctly, and both the mobile and the desktop version appear correctly in the Customizing preview.
Any assistance would be hugely appreciated. Did this happen due to some customising I did previously? I cannot say. Can I reset any customising? How?

    Hi there,
I have now found that both the mobile and the desktop site for heye.co.za show the messed up header menu section. The preview shows the site in perfect health, however.
As soon as I add an item to the basket and view the basket, then the formatting of the site restores itself. i.e. it appears that logged in users see the site correctly, but when not logged in, then the formatting is messed up. Any ideas how to fix this would be hugely appreciated!

    Hi @holgerh,

I checked your site and it looks good on both desktop and mobile.

Perhaps you’re having a cache that should be flushed. Please try flushing cache and restarting your web browser.

    Regards,
    Kharis

    Dear Kharis,

thank you for your assistance. I have spent days fiddling with the settings, and it appears that the error has now disappeared, thank you. Not sure what caused the problem, I just hope that it does not re-appear!

    kind regards, Holger
