    Hi,

    First of all thanks for the great plugin. Kudos to you!

    I’ve below question-

    1. Header separator borders are not coming. I’ve applied below css:
    .tablepress th,
    .tablepress td {
    border: 1px solid #cccccc !important;
    }
    But border is not coming in the header part. I just played around with the setting and confirmed that if I uncheck the option for Sorting – “Enable sorting of the table by the visitor.” , it is working fine. But I want the sorting option also. Here is the link to the page.

    2. In the above table, how can I specify the fixed column width as 3rd column is taking too much of width which is not required.

    3. In this table page, it is not working correctly in the tablet and mobile mode when I change to display more records. Also a slight distortion is seen when changing the number of records to display from the ‘Show records’ drop-down.

    Looking forward for your expert advice and help.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    1) This is working fine for me. I can see the border lines in the header row as well (I use Google Chrome.)
    Note that vertical borders are not really recommended by web experts, because they make data harder to read. That’s why TablePress doesn’t add them by default.

    2) You could use CSS here: https://tablepress.org/faq/column-widths/

    3) You are running into the classic problem of responsiveness here. For some ideas on how to show tables that are too big on small screens, please see https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/

    Regards,
    Tobias

    For 1, If I still want to have vertical borders, how can I do that?

    Thanks for 2.

    I’ve tried possible solutions for 3, but not able to find a perfect solution.

    Hi,

    for 1): It looks like you are running into a Firefox problem here :-/ The borders work on Chrome, but not on Firefox. I have seen this before, but don’t know a solution for this, sorry. I think it’s a Firefox problem.

    for 3): Sorry about that 🙁 Unfortunately, it’s simply not always possible to show all columns of a table on small screens. This is a result of how they work, with their fixed rows/columns structure.

    Regards,
    Tobias
