 * You have a variety of padding being applied up there, remove **all padding**
   from the `.page-wrap` class and add this instead:
 *     ```
       #content {
           margin-top: 170px;
       }
       @media screen and (max-width: 990px) {
           #content {
               margin-top: 60px;
           }
       }
       ```
 * For theme customizations you should use a [Child Theme](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
   or a [Custom CSS](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/) plugin.
 * Hope this helps.
 * Hi
 * CSS Method:
 *     ```
       .site-header.fixed {
           position: absolute;
           display: none;
       }
       ```

 * Add this to your theme’s custom css section / style.css in your Child Theme.
 * All the best!

 * Hi OP
 * If you would like to ‘eliminate’ your header (the way I interpreted your post)
   you can use the CSS I provided.
 * If you need to eliminate the eye sore (ie. adjust the padding etc.) see [@themesumo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/themesumo/)’
   s response.

 * Thanks guys, I dont have any css experience yet and there are several sections
   on the sheet that say “page wrap”. I want to be sure so i dont create another
   problem. What is the particular heading im making the change to? I see page wrap
   under content and layout.
 * Thanks again

 * Please [don’t bump](https://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#No_Bumping), your
   thread may be removed.
 * As your header is absolutely positioned it covers up your content slightly, which
   you can rectify by following my first post.
 * To remove the header entirely, which is what I think you may have requested initially,
   you should follow the post by [@epicdevspace](https://wordpress.org/support/users/epicdevspace/).
 * The easiest and safest way to add custom CSS is to use a [Custom CSS](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/)
   plugin, you can just add your CSS code via **Appearance > Custom CSS** menu option.
 * Hope this helps.

 * Thank guys. The plugin worked but i notice it still exists on my phone. Is there
   a way for me to fix that as well?
 * Thank you

 * I’m still not entirely sure what you’re trying to achieve here as your header
   is still visible, it just has a transparent background color applied to it, its
   contents are still there.
 * To style the header at mobile widths, you can use this code:
 *     ```
       @media only screen and (max-width: 991px) {
           .site-header {
               background-color: transparent;
           }
       }
       ```
 * Hope this helps.
   mobile. Maybe i did some thing wrong?
 * Thank you for your help
