Support » Plugin: Elementor - Header, Footer & Blocks » Header overlay stops plugin working

  • Hi,

I am trying to use your (excellent) plugin on the Real Homes theme from Inspiry Themes.

Obviously it is not supported as standard so we have added the custom code as per the instructions on this page:

    https://github.com/Nikschavan/header-footer-elementor/wiki/Add-support-to-Header-Footer-Elementor-from-the-Child-Theme

We have just added the footer code for now.

However, there is an issue. I have used the plugin before and it worked like a dream, but on this site there is an issue where the framework of the header is covering the box with the add elelment or go to templates section.

I am using Mega Menu Nav but have deactivated it which helps, but the problem is still there.

    Here is a screenshot:

Here is a screenshot of the code we have used to implement it:

Any ideas how to get rid of the header elements so that we can upload to the footer as nomral? I am an Astra Pro customer as well, but obviously did not want to upload a support ticket there.

FYI if this plugin had a premium support version, I’m sure many people would use it!

    Many thanks in advance,

    Tom.

    Hey @tomster100

We have never faced such issue before with our plugin. Also, as you know the theme you are using is not among the officially supported themes.

If you wish us to look into your issue then please open a support ticket which should include the detailed information about the issue you are facing.

    Regards,
    Vikas
