header menu dropdown problems

    Hi,
    i’ve got some trouble getting my menu to work in make theme.
    i’m working on my hobby page wasted-lands.de.
    the problem is: i’m using the header menu as site navigation, but the dropdown function is not working. i added some main items and some sub items to the menu, but i just can click the main items. hovering over the menu, or even clicking doen’t open the sub menu entries.
    i would be very thankful, if someone could help me. i’m not totally new to wordpress, but i have not much knowledge about coding or css.
    the only active plugins at the moment are next gen gallery and sticky menu. turning them off doesn’t change anything.

    Hi there,

    The menu in the header bar does not support drop-downs. If you want to use drop-downs, we recommend you set your menu in the primary menu location.

    i solved the issue by using a menu plugin.
