Title: Header Logo issue Last modified: September 1, 2016 --- # Header Logo issue * [Jerry Tonneman](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jerry74/) * (@jerry74) * [9 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/header-logo-issue/) * For my tennisclub [http://www.balletuin.nl](http://www.balletuin.nl) I’m using Hueman v2.2.5 * Currently, the Hueman theme has version 3.1.6, but before updating I wanted to check if everything works correctly. * Therefore I made a copy and put it at a sub-domain: [http://balletuin.multimedia-webdesign.nl/](http://balletuin.multimedia-webdesign.nl/). There I updated the theme to it’s current version (3.1.6) * Within “Option Tree” (v.2.2.5) I selected an animated gif as the logo. * Within the “Customizer” (v3.1.6) I don’t see the animated gif, but at the front- end I can see it. * In the database table “_options” I see the following: * _options * option_name: option_tree option_value: “custom-logo”;s:0:””;s:16:”site-description”; s:2:”on”;s:12:”header-image”;s:39:”/wp-content/uploads/header-animatie.gif”;s: 10:”footer-ads”; * So it seems that with the updating proces from 2.2.5 to 3.1.6 something went wrong with assigning this information to the Customizer panel? * I make use of a child theme. With Childify I created a new child theme at the sub-domain, to see if that makes any difference. Are you saying the logo gif doesn’t show up in Customize > Header > Header Design under Custom Header Logo? Looking at your two sites the HTML structure doesn’t show that the logo was added under the site title, which is where it is placed in both v2.2.5 and v3.16. * > I wanted to check if everything works correctly. * There have been a number of changes made in the new version starting with v3.0. By the way the animation .gif contains both the logo as the “action pictures”. I’m wondering if that’s the same file as the header image? If so, I’m not sure how it ended up there. 1. What happens if you remove that logo file? Does that remove the header image on the site? 2. What happens if you upload a different file in the Header Image option? Does that replace the header image on the site?
