header link

  • I am have read everyhting on this so please be patient. I have swapped my header (kubrick defalut) with my own graphic. it only shows up on about half of the pages why?

    also how do I make the whole thing a link to my homepage (www.hopeworks.us)? not my blog homepage.

    <div id=”header”>

    <div id=”headerimg”>

    <h1><?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?></h1>

    <div class=”description”><?php bloginfo(‘description’); ?></div>

    </div>

Well, if you want the header graphic to be a link then it will need to be on the page itself in the flow and not set as a background image. You can echo the blog title/url.

<a href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>"><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></a>

Are your front pages and your blog pages all inside WP?

not sure what you mean. my front pages (home page) is html. I want the header image to click back to http://www.hopeworks.us

where would I put the code you scripted above. header.php?

Yes.

if i echo blog title url won’t it send the link to hopeworks.us/blog instead of hopeworks.us?
