Header image overlapping search and social media icons

  • I have social media icons and a search bar located in my header file, along with a custom header image inserted using a div.

The header image has a -100px top margin so that it goes off the screen at the top a little.

The whole things LOOKS fine, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the icons and the search bar to work properly because the header image is “covering” them up. Meaning it is in front of them in such a way that I cannot click on them (I can only see them).

Here is my current home page which will show you what I’m dealing with: http://silverlakepictureshow.com/

Can anyone help me fix this?

Sorry, try now. I made it live for a while to see if anyone would respond, but then put it back in preview because I don’t want too many public eyes to see it yet.

    I’ve made it public again.
