  • Resolved netsolns

    All of a sudden, with no changes carried out from my side, the header image is no longer showing. It is a hosted blog so I had backed up all the files on 20080605. Will restoring it mess up the plugins etc. Could the blog have been hacked. I read about Tripwire and AIDE on Donncha’s blog but don’t know how to install these.

  • Did you fix it ? If it’s the blog in your profile – looks good.

    Samboll, thx for replying.

    It’s my mistake. I forgot the URL. I have 3 blogs and 1 forums ID so such mismatches can happen.

    the URL is

    The kubric header.php file from metrochannel

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">
    <html xmlns="" <?php language_attributes(); ?>>
    <head profile="">
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type'); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset'); ?>" />
    <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php if ( is_single() ) { ?> &raquo; Blog Archive <?php } ?> <?php wp_title(); ?></title>
    <meta name="generator" content="WordPress <?php bloginfo('version'); ?>" /> <!-- leave this for stats -->
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url'); ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?> RSS Feed" href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>" />
    <link rel="pingback" href="<?php bloginfo('pingback_url'); ?>" />
    <style type="text/css" media="screen">
    // Checks to see whether it needs a sidebar or not
    if ( !$withcomments && !is_single() ) {
    #page { background: url("<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/kubrickbg-<?php bloginfo('text_direction'); ?>.jpg") repeat-y top; border: none; }
    <?php } else { // No sidebar ?>
    #page { background: url("<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/kubrickbgwide.jpg") repeat-y top; border: none; }
    <?php } ?>
    <?php wp_head(); ?>
    <div id="page">
    <div id="header" onclick="location.href='';" style="cursor: pointer;">
    <div id="headerimg">
    <h1 id="header">
    <a href="<?php bloginfo('url');?>"><?php bloginfo('name');?></a>
    <div class="description"><?php bloginfo('description');?>

    I finally gave up on it. I think it might have been some hosting thing more than some Kubrick thing. I simply changed the theme to Contempt. Then, I changed the head.jpg to a custom header image via FTP.
