    Hello everyone,

I’m trying to upload a header image to a website I’m working on, but the theme always resizes it and doesn’t fit the image correctly. The theme I’m working with is Writerblog. It says that I should upload an image of 1920 x 850 ratio, and that’s exactly what I do. And yet, it just zooms in and only part of the image is show.

I attached a link to the website: rachelfaran.co.il

What do you think I should do?
    Thanks in advance,
    Omer

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks Andrew, I will

But I guess it might also be a general question?

Do you think it’s a bug of the theme, or maybe it could happen it other themes as well?
Maybe other guys had the same problem using other themes

    Thanks again

I did look into it and it’s a design choice of your theme. Understanding whether an intentional decision is only something someone with knowledge of the theme can understand

It’s really not worth exploring this avenue, as I would say the chance of someone experiencing the same problem with another theme (and their solution working for you) is below 1%.

    Oh ok thanks Andrew.

Just because it might take months for them to answer, is there something I can try to do with CSS in order to force the image not to be resized?

    Thanks in advance

I don’t know what gave you the impression that it takes months for theme support, but if that is the case then you need to consider another theme. One that has support. This won’t be the only issue you’ll face with the theme and you will need support from people who use the theme for other problems or queries.

I’m afraid you don’t have a simple problem to resolve.
