header image doesn’t show
-
I’m trying to change the header image from the default blue blob. I’ve created an image and named it kubrickheader.jpg (because changing the filename in header.php didn’t work and another post suggested this). I’ve re-uploaded the original header.php and the new image, but I still see the blue blob. I haven’t changed anything from the default locations — don’t know how. I’ve looked at http://codex.wordpress.org/Designing_Headers and tried to follow the directions (I find them overly confusing.)
The site is at: http://ellenfinkelstein.com/cgi/wp/
Header.php is at http://ellenfinkelstein.com/cgi/wp/wp-content/themes/ellens-knowledge-blog/header.php
When I try to load that in my browser, I get the following message:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: bloginfo() in /www/cgi/wp/wp-content/themes/ellens-knowledge-blog/header.php on line 5” I don’t know what to do with that or what it means.
The image is at http://ellenfinkelstein.com/cgi/wp/wp-content/themes/ellens-knowledge-blog/images/kubrickheader.jpg
This loads fine.
I’m not aware of having created any folders manually. I didn’t change anything in Options.
Can you help?
