    Hi,

    As you can see on the mobile website it shows the full image as intended however, on the desktop version the header image is cropped to just show the top of the photo.

    I know that’s a function of the screen proportions, orientation, dropdown menus on the mobile version, and the need to reduce screen real estate ‘wasted’ on the desktop site.
    Obviously, if the header image took up too much screen ‘real estate’, pushing the menus and remainder of content lower down where people would need to scroll before they see any of it, that would be a bad thing.

    Some themes get around this issue by offering an option where you can choose a different header image for the desktop and mobile versions of the site.

    As far as I can tell, this theme (Storefront) doesn’t allow that (or at least it’s not readily apparent) – it simply auto crops the full image to fit in the header space at the top.

    Is there a way, please, that I can set a different header image or the desktop version of the site as opposed to the mobile version?

    Hopefully the above makes sense, please ask if you need any clarification.
