    Hi,

    I really hope someone can help me as this is driving me insane! I created my site with the Mins theme from godaddy and I added the header image but it seems it resizes itself dependent on the length of the page title or hero text on each page. I want it to remain the height I cropped it to in the theme customiser when prompted.

    Also when I view a post, the post title on the image is not white and I can’t see where to set that either.

    Here is the site, if anyone could take a look I would be very grateful!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @julieoc

    Sorry for the delay in responding. What size image are you using when you upload your header image?

    I can do some testing to see if I can replicate the issue, and patch it up if needed.

    As for the text color, it looks like you switched the theme background back over to white, so everything is looking good there.

    Hi Evan,

    Thanks, I would really appreciate that.

    I uploaded it and cropped it to the suggested image dimensions: 2400 by 1300 pixels when it prompted me to. But you will see it is a slightly different height on each page depending on the length of the page title displaying on the image.

    The page title displays in white (which I want) on all pages apart from the blog post pages which is in the mustard colour, see http://aldwinclevillagehall.co.uk/pubnight/ and I can’t find anywhere to edit this?

    Thanks,
    Julie.

    Hi @julieoc,

    You can set a min-height value on the .hero so all of the pages are set to a certain height. Try adding the following to your themes ‘Additional CSS’ section. You can get there from the dashboard by navigating to ‘Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS’.

    .hero {
       min-height: 435px;
    }

    That should help unify all of the page hero elements, so are the same in height regardless of header content length.

    That worked, thank you so much!

    Do you know if I can change the blog post title on the image to white instead of the mustard colour? See http://aldwinclevillagehall.co.uk/pubnight/

    Hi @julieoc,

    You should be able to tweak the page title colors with the following CSS:

    .page-header .page-title {
       color: #ffffff;
    }

    Again, it worked.

    Thank you!
