 * I’d like to upload a banner image instead of the standard text header.
 * Putting in a large image into the logo upload changes it into a small image.
 * Where/how can i set my banner herder instead of text

 * The logo image is only small on the preview in theme options, on the website 
   it’s displayed in it’s original size.

 * I resolved my issue by slightly changing the CSS:
 *     ```
       .site-branding img {
       max-width: 20%;
       }
       ```
   
 * I changed the max-width to 100%
