    I see a lot of space at the top of my site title. How can I decrease it? Any help will be appreciated.

    for those general formatting problems, try to work with a browser inspection tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to investigate which styles are influencing what elements.

    the site title has a large top padding;

    #site-title {
    	margin-right: 270px;
    	padding: 3.65625em 0 0;
    }

    add a new style to your child theme to overwrite that value with a smaller value;

    example:

    #site-title {
    	padding: 0.5em 0 0;
    }

    you could do something similar with the bottom margin of the site description: #site-description

    The padding in this CSS is causing that large space:

    #site-title {
        margin-right: 270px;
        padding: 3.65625em 0 0;
    }

    so try adding this to your child style.css:

    #site-title {
        padding: 1em 0 0;
    }

    Adjust the 1 as you choose.

    EDIT — sorry, posted at the same time…

    Thanks a lot it worked for me. Can you suggest please how can I stop line breaking in the site title? My site title is in two lines. How Can I do it into one line.

    I see the site title on one line;
    however on narrower screens it might be on two lines caused by the 270px right margin of #site-title;

    just change your latest style to:

    #site-title {
            padding: 0.5em 0 0; margin-right: 0;
    }

    Thank you so much. It worked for me well.

    How can I keep site title towards right site center of my site logo? Now it is showing in below line of logo. Any help will be appreciated.
