Header/footer template > not working with WPML or Polylang

    Hi,
    I would like to have, say a French wide site header assign to “Entire site” and a traduction of this same header but in English.

    I tried both with WPML and Polylang without sucess.

    I first created a new header template and assign French. Than I click on the ” + ” to add the English version of that header, and assign to Entire Site, and I get this error msg : “Elementor recognized that you have set this location for other templates”

    So the question is: is your new stuff header/fotter/… templates are WPML or Polylang ready ? If they are I would like to know how wa can do that?

    Hi, have you declared Elementor library in Polylang? I have not tried with conditional templates but I use Polylang with header and/or footer depending on the language and I change them in my OWP theme settings for each page.

    In Polylang setting :
    – Custom post types and Taxonomies : “My Templates” is checked
    – Synchronization : nothing is checked

    But I think the issue is with the new conditional logic… Yesterday I wrote an support ticket to Elementor (about the same issue but with WPML) and I just get their answer:
    “At this point in time, I’m afraid Elementor isn’t fully compatible with WPML, we are currently working on fixing the issues and a fix will be released soon within an update to the plugin, we don’t have a specific date on that.”

    🙁 Too bad…

    Yep it’s a shame!

    Elementor is a very great plugin but they more focus on release some gadget like blur effects on background image instead of focusing on more important things!

    Another serious bug ?
