Header and footer showing as main page

    Hi

    I have build a wordpress site using Elementor and for some reason the header and footer come up as the main page when I click “visit site”. When I click on “Home” or other tabs it brings me to the relevant page. How can I switch this off and ensure that the main page is in fact my home page? This is my first website so please dumb down as much as possible. Thanks so much!

    Could you provide a link to the page you are having problems with?

    Do check first in the Customize tab > Static Front Page and check that the pages you want are selected.

    Hey! Thanks so much for the reply, this is how the site is at the moment. I cant figure out why the main page is the header and footer and its not until one clicks on home that one gets to the home page?

    You need to designate the page that is /Home as your home page in the Customizer. Under Appearance go to Customize. From there, go to Home Page Settings. You will see a dropdown listing all the pages you have created. Pick the one called Home. That should do it.
