Header Additional Image Issue

    Hi

    Seem to acquired an extra image at the top of this page on my website. Cant seem to remove in the normal way so looking for assistance as to what could be causing it.

    Strangely the page was fine earlier today – I did some updates to it but no to the header area and I have not updated any plugins today.

    Any help appreciated

    @rdiggins

    Extra image you are seeing is feature image of page. Might be you have enabled show featured image option from theme or elementor page edit.

    Please check page options in elementor edit page.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Unfortunately I am getting the following message when trying to EDIT the PAGE. I can access EDIT with ELEMENTOR but not the simple EDIT function

    There has been a critical error on this website.

    Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host. Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

    You can also try disabling plugin/theme:
    – manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
    – If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank you for your reply – I have installed the error log and have a number of issues.

    HI

    Further to this ticket I have now have further detail on the initial issue as below:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /var/www/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2135

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and rename or delete the directory of wpb-elementor-addons plugin.

    If the problem still persists, Try increasing memory allocated to PHP. See https://wordpress.org/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php
