How do I put a header image (new york for example) just like in the preview images.

I believe that's a featured post slider and the option is only available for WordPress.com users - see the special instructions README.md file.

Would love to have that option for self-hosted too, any chance?

I might just create a couple of child themes for it, one with a slider and the other with a header image if the option is not for self-hosted users!

    Hi there,

I'll be submitting an update this morning that allows the theme to work with Jetpack's (http://jetpack.me/) Featured Content functionality. I'll update the README.md to reflect this.

Once the new version is available, you can enable the slider by installing Jetpack and then:

    1. Navigate to Settings → Reading.
    2. Scroll down to the section labeled “Featured Content”.
    3. Enter the name of a tag.
    4. Click the blue “Save Changes” button at the bottom.
    5. Once a tag name has been saved, posts having this tag will appear in the featured content section.

Installing Jetpack will also give you access to other awesome features like Infinite Scroll, Tiled Galleries, Sharing, and Post Likes.

    - Got it to work by resizing the image -

For some reason I just can't get it to work.
My Article still looks like a normal article.

    Thanks for your input
