# Header

 * I would like to add a logo to the left hand side of my header at [http://sharonblochsblog.com](http://sharonblochsblog.com)
   
   I have tried but no success to get it to work.

   I do not know a lot, but I will try to help you out, if you wish.

 * I use the RedBel theme. Have tried uploading my logo with a 1000×158 pixel which
   was recommended and the uploads are distorted and changes the color to white 
   background besides.

 * That sounds to me like the size of a header image, and a logo would be much smaller.
   Then, the smaller logo image would be added to your header area by way of some
   programming code added to your Child Theme files.
 * If you do not need your logo to be separately-clickable all by itself, what I
   have done is to simply paste my logo directly onto a copy of my header image,
   then upload that new header image to replace what I had.
 * If you might want to do something like that, here is a look at how mine turned
