 * Can someone tell me what function generates all the info in the HEAD section
   of WP and where does it pull the info from? I seem to have a lot of missing links
   to css and js files, and I don’t know why they aren’t being loaded.
 * thanks

 * Hi,
 * Do you mean on the front end of your site, or the WordPress administration? If
   you mean the former then this is usually the header.php file found in your theme
   folder.

 * On the site; not the admin.
    I know the header.php file makes the function calls,
   but where does it pull the info to load? I have a site that seems to be missing
   a lot of the css and js links.

 * The header may have some but otherwise individual plugins, etc, will add these
   in. Do you have any plugins meant for caching or general speed? They may be combining
   some of these scripts so may be the cause.

 * No special plugins for anything like that.
    Here is the thing: I have 2 sites
   that were set up identically, except for textual changes. One site works and
   one crashes IE so I had to add an alert to not use IE. I can’t find any obvious
   differences in the backend setup, except I noticed a huge difference in the content
   of the HEAD section of the the 2. If you could take a quick peak, maybe you could
   spot something? Good site: bigfun4all.com/milton_de Site that crashes IE: bigfun4all.

 * I’ve just taken a look at the source for both those pages and apart from the
   message you’ve added for IE users, I can’t see much of a difference. Can you
   tell me what code you think is missing?
 * The thing with IE is that it’s a lot less tolerant to code errors, so the reality
   is that even just a code change may have introduced an error which means IE doesn’t
   render the page – other browsers may.
 * I’d recommend putting both pages through a validation service and seeing what
   comes out.

 * Thanks for looking. And you are right; the code does seem to be all there now.

   Ran both sites thru validation, and while there are errors in both, the errors
   are very similar. I’ll keep checking.
 * Thanks!

 * Yes, most themes do show validation errors as standard, but they’re usually the
   type that won’t prevent a page from rendering correctly.

 * Last question: do you see anything in the bigfun4all.com/wilmington_de site that
   could crash IE? Mainly on inner pages like bigfun4all.com/wilmington_de/bounce-
   houses?
