hCAPTCHA displays but poll won’t submit after challenge complete

    Hello again,

    One last question. When enabling hCAPTCHA on all my polls none of them will allow the user to submit. The hCaptcha box appears (and I’ve confirmed the site key, and secret key work on my Divi Email Opt-in Form). So I’m wondering what could be causing the hCAPTCHA to display on a poll but once the user completes the challenge, and clicks submit, the spinny wheel just keeps going around in a circle.

    Hello

    I looked at the link you’ve posted and I noticed you have disabled hCaptcha and switched to reCaptcha.

    We will run some tests on our end with hCaptcha and see if we can replicate the issue.

    I’ve ran a test on our end with hCaptcha enabled and voting went through ok.

    This makes me think it is something specific to your website that is causing the issue.

    Can you create a test poll with hCaptcha enabled so we can troubleshoot?

    Hi, I was able to get it working by fiddling with some settings for my caching plugin WP Rocket. I’m not exactly sure what was causing it to not submit but it seems to be working now! Thanks!

    Feature request, can you add (or verify) that YOP Poll is compatible with Akismet Anti-spam. My nonprofit actually gets a free license to this service and it integrates with a lot of contact forms. But I couldn’t find any documentation on whether it works ‘out of the box’ with YOP Poll. Otherwise, a Cloudflare Turnstile option would also be amazing. Thanks again!

    I am happy to hear you got hCaptcha to work 🙂

    Regarding the feature request, I have added it to our todo list.
    I’m thinking it will be added pretty quick since it doesn’t require a lot of work to implement it.
