I’m trying to install Events Manager. When I went to install it, everything seemed to go fine, but then I get these two messages at the top of my page:

“Events Manager is ready to go! It is highly recommended you read the Getting Started guide on our site, as well as checking out the Settings Page. Dismiss”

“Uh Oh! For some reason WordPress could not create an events page for you (or you just deleted it). Not to worry though, all you have to do is create an empty page, name it whatever you want, and select it as your events page in your settings page. Sorry for the extra step! If you know what you are doing, you may have done this on purpose, if so ignore this message”

So, I created an empty page, and named it “Calendar,” and then went to my settings page and — I don’t see anything about where I would go to select that page as my events page.

Am I missing something? Where do I go to select my new empty “Calendar” page as my events page?

ALSO – the previous webmaster of this site had created a page called “Events,” which is maybe already set as the Events Page for Events Manager, but I’m not sure. Maybe that’s why I’m getting the two above apparently conflicting error messages? Where can I go to find out if this “Events” page is actually set to be the Events Manager events page?

    thanks!
